A Slack weekly report bot for Stripe, HubSpot, GA4 and your database
Every Monday someone opens four tabs, copies numbers into a sheet and writes “revenue up, signups flat” in Slack. Teddo does that job. It reads the numbers from the tools you already use, writes a short report in plain English, posts it in the channel and keeps the history in a Google Sheet.

What the report looks like
A typical Monday post in #numbers:
- New revenue (Stripe): the week’s total and the change from last week, with refunds shown separately.
- Pipeline (HubSpot): deals created, deals won, and anything stuck in one stage for more than two weeks.
- Traffic and signups (Google Analytics): sessions and signups by source, with the biggest mover called out.
- Product (Postgres): active accounts and whatever query your team cares about.
- One line on why: when something moves a lot, Teddo points out where the change came from, for example which source brought fewer signups.
Under the post is a link to the Google Sheet with every past week, so anyone can check a number or build a chart from it.
How to set it up
- Add Teddo to Slack and invite it to the channel where the report should appear.
- Connect your sources in Settings: Stripe, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Postgres or MySQL. Credentials are encrypted and database access is read-only.
- Describe the report once, in the channel. For example: “@Teddo weekly numbers: new MRR from Stripe, deals won from HubSpot, signups by source from GA4. Compare with last week and keep a sheet.”
- Correct it once. If the first version counts something differently from how you do (trials, refunds, test accounts), say so in the thread. Teddo remembers.
- Put it on a schedule. Say “@Teddo post this every Monday at 9” and Teddo runs the report by itself each week and posts it in the channel. Ask “what's scheduled?” to see or cancel it.
Why a person in Slack beats a dashboard nobody opens
Dashboards are good at showing numbers and bad at being looked at. A short post in the channel where the team already works gets read, and people can reply in the thread with questions: “why did signups from paid drop?” Teddo answers from the same data, with the source, instead of someone digging through a BI tool at 9am.
It also removes the Monday ritual itself. The person who used to assemble the numbers gets that hour back, and the report does not depend on them being in the office.
What it costs
Each weekly report is one request, however many tools it reads. That is 4 or 5 requests a month. On pay as you go at $0.09 a request, a weekly report costs under 50 cents a month; the $20 minimum top-up covers over 200 requests and the credits do not expire. On Pro ($79 a month for 1,000 requests) it uses less than half a percent of the plan, leaving the rest for everything else your team asks. See pricing for the details.
Data handling
Teddo reads your tools with the access you give it, and database queries run in read-only mode. Your numbers are never used to train AI models. Teddo’s servers are in Frankfurt, Germany; the AI providers it uses process requests in the United States. More on the security page.
